If you're in charge of planning Girls Camp this year, you won't want to miss this post!
We have over 30 items listed in the shop right now that will either help you get started or help take your camp planning to the next level. If you're looking for posters, journals, treat tags, devotional ideas, awards, packing lists, etc, WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED! Since there are so many different kits in the shop, we thought we'd do a post to highlight what we've got to offer.
Let's start with camp posters and flyers. Often these are the first sign that Girl's Camp is just around the corner. Having a cute camp poster or flyer can help set the mood and get campers excited. We've got three options in the shop for you to choose from. Each is slightly different, but the posters all come in three sizes (8.5x11, 11x17 and 16x20) and the flyers print two per page. They are editable in Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you need a different size, just send us an Etsy message and we'll see what we can do!
Next up is our most popular offering: Devotional Starter Kits with coordinating treat tags. These kits were designed with the youth in mind. If you want to help your youth step up and lead, you won't want to miss these.
Each kit comes with at least one page of devotional starters (stories, quotes, scriptures, etc) about a certain topic. The idea is to give youth a place to get started on their assigned topic. It also comes with a planning page to help them prepare, and treat tags that coordinate with the devotional - to help youth remember what was taught and take that learning home with them. Each kit also includes a guide that has ideas of meaningful, inexpensive items that you could pair with each treat tag.
We've currently got 17 different themed kits in the shop - so whatever your theme or focus is at camp this year, we can help! Our most popular kit goes along with this year's Youth theme, "Walk with Me" from Moses 6:34. One leader who recently purchased this kit told us it was saving their Youth Conference. She truly didn't know where to start, and this kit got her planning committee going. Best feedback ever!
One of our Spanish-speaking friends reached out and asked for the kit in Spanish, so we also made una versión en español.
The rest of the kits are based on recent General Conference talks or faith-promoting topics. If you don't see what you're looking for, leave a comment and let us know what topics you're wanting and we'll see what we can do!
Remember Sister Tamara Runia's ground-breaking 2025 General Conference talk reframing the power and joy of repentance? What better message could our Young Women hear at camp this year!?
Or how about President Russell M. Nelson's recent encouragement to "Let God Prevail," to "Think Celestial," to seek "Spiritual Momentum," to "Take Charge of Your Testimony," to "Hear Him," to remember that "Peacemakers are Needed," that "Faith Can Move Mountains," or to remember "Who You Really Are"?
These last kits are topic-based rather than talk-based, but powerful nonetheless. Any single one would be uplifting and inspiring to share with your Young Women.
Our other most popular camp item is our camp journals. We've got four different versions, two of which are editable. They can be printed in color or black and white and the editable ones can be edited in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The editable journals can be personalized, like adding in your own camp theme, camp schedule, etc. If you're wanting to go the editable route, be sure to choose one of the first two listed below.
We've also got one of our editable camp journals in Spanish, so if you're serving in a Spanish speaking ward, stake or branch, you'll want to check it out!
If you're looking for camp awards, choose from our two sets of editable awards. The first set is based on nature, the second set is a little more general.
In addition to all of the kits above, we've also got a couple of practical downloads to help in the process of planning your camp. One of our newest products is this All About Me camp worksheet. These can be used to help when assigning tents or cabins, when setting up ministering sisters/secret sister assignments or even just to help camp leaders learn more about their campers.
The sheet asks about favorites (to give you an idea of which snacks are most beloved), musical talents (to help you prepare your nighttime devotionals), along with some more serious questions, like what campers might be nervous about, medications needed, etc.
We've also got two options for camp packing lists. Choose the one that best fits your vibe!
If you don't see what you're looking for or need some kind of customization, please
send me an Etsy message via the shop and we'll see what we can do. We've created a lot of custom items over the years, like a "Tangled" theme camp journal or this "Look Up" themed poster from a couple of years ago. We love helping you expand on your own great ideas.
Best of luck with the rest of your camp planning efforts. The Young Women are so lucky to have you as their leaders!
